the Warriors scored a field goal as well as a second touch down to the Mustangs one touch down. The Warriors
defeated the Mustangs with a score of 16 to 7.

October 17, 2008 evening had the Hoxie Booster Club's Annual Chilli Cookoff prior to the game between
the Hoxie Mustangs and the Piggott Mohawks. The Mustangs took the lead in the first three quarters with
the Mohawks making a push in the fourth which netted the Mohawks two touch downs getting within one
point of the Mustangs. The Mustangs defeated the Mohawks with a score of 13 to 12.

Thursday evening, December 11, 2008, Walnut Ridge Bobcats hosted four games with the Imboden Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds.
The 7th grade Lady Bobcats defeated the Lady Greyhounds with a score of 26 to 9; the 7th grade boys games resulted in a score
of 35 to 11 in favor of the Walnut Ridge Bobcats; the Junior Lady Bobcats lost to the Lady Greyhounds with a score of 51 to 54
following two over times and the Junior Bobcats defeated the Greyhounds with a score of 43 to 35.

Friday evening, December 12, 2008, Lynn's Hillcrest hosted a couple of basket ball games against Cave City Cave men.
The 7th grade Screaming Eagles were defeated by the Cavemen with a score of 17 to 49.
During the break between the games, Hillcrest presented their Homecoming Court to the crowd. Hillcrest's
Little Dribblers performed their routine during the Senior boy's game.
The Screaming Eagles defeated the Cavemen with a ending score of 55 to 51.

most of the county's electricity the last week of January. The Junior and Senior Girls and Boys from
Walnut Ridge, Black Rock, Imboden and Lynn adapted to the new schedule of four games a evening
to complete the tournament without further delay.
