1607 S. Broad St Residental Fire Rekindled - May 10, 2007
The Hoxie Volunteer Fire Department was called out to
a abandoned residential fire that had previously
been burned. One would think
that a previously burnt house wouldn't have much to catch on fire since there
wasn't any gas or electrical services to the burnt house to have caused the
fire. A Hoxie Police Officer stated
that it's common that someone would
reset the fire for fun or for other reasons. While the arsonist maybe
having
loads of fun, all volunteer firemen are being put in jeopardy each and every
fire that they battle
that they shouldn't be forced to face for a sick
individual's pleasure.
