games had Farm Bureau Lawrence County team pitted against Lawrence County Tractor.

in favor of the Giants. The second game pitted the Pulaski Bank Mets against the Phillips Farms Storm in mechanized pitch.

favor of the Cardinals. In T-Ball, the Cox Implement and the Regions Bank teams faced off. In the 13 to 14
year old Little League, the Walnut Ridge Bobcats faced off with Corning's Junior League First National Bank's
team with finial score unknown at time of posting.

versus Andrews Farms Orioles in the 9 and 10 year old division with the Kennedy Trucking Devil Rays winning
the game and the 1st place trophy with Andrews Farms Orioles winning the Runner Up trophy; Blackadder Farms
Giants versus Regions Bank Cardinals with the Regions Bank Cardinals winning the 11-12 Tournament
Championship Trophy and the Blackadder Farm Giants receiving Runner Up Trophy.

Tuesday afternoon, June 26, 2007, at the Walnut Ridge Parks and Recreation Baseball and Softball Complex had
the Walnut Ridge All Stars 9 & 10 year olds scrimmaging as well as the Farm Air Dusters pitted against Lawrence
County Seed Cardinals with dedicated effort to become the 1st Place. The Lawrence County Seed Cardinals
won the Walnut Ridge Girls Softball Jr. Division Tournament Runner-Up 2007 which left the Farm Air Dusters
as the Walnut Ridge Girls Softball Jr. Division Tournament Champions 2007 as well as winning the Walnut Ridge
Girls Softball Jr. Division League Champions 2007. Minturn Grain Sluggers faced off Times Dispatch Diamond
Devils which ended with Minturn Grain Sluggers as the Walnut Ridge Girls Softball Sr. Division Tournament
Runner-Up 2007 and the Times Dispatch Diamond Devils as the Walnut Ridge Girls Softball Sr. Division
Tournament Champions 2007 as well as winning the Walnut Ridge Girls Softball Sr. Division League Champions 2007.

Saturday Scrimmage - June 23, 2007
The Walnut Ridge Little League All Star 9 & 10 year old and the 11 & 12 year old young men played a scrimmage
youth against the elder team on Saturday, June 23, 2004. Both teams were fresh from regular Little League which
ended just the evening prior to the scrimmage game Saturday morning. All the players looked ready for the
tournament and all are a good representatives of the Walnut Ridge Little League Association and all should
look forward to their excellent performance in the up coming tournament.

the Walnut Ridge Bobcats played against the Marked Tree Indians with the Walnut Ridge Bobcats being
the victor; in the 7 & 8 year olds, Walnut Ridge Bobcats versus Wilson's South Mississippi County
School Colts in which the Bobcats were the victors.

Small League Tournament had the following teams in play: 7&8 year old Walnut Ridge Bobcats versus South
Mississippi County Colts in which the Walnut Ridge Bobcats won the distinction of receiving the plaque
"The Home of the 2007 Arkansas District Four Small League Area "Jr. Minor League" Baseball Champions;
the 9&10 year old Walnut Ridge Bobcats versus the Marked Tree Indians in which the Marked Tree Indians
took home the Championship Plaque which read "The Home of the 2007 Arkansas District Four Small League
Area Little League 9 & 10 Baseball Champions"; the 11&12 year old Walnut Ridge Bobcats versus West Memphis
in which the Walnut Ridge Bobcats took home the Championship Plaque which read "The Home of the 2007
Arkansas District Four Small League Area Little League Baseball Champions. It's off to State for the 7&8 year
old Walnut Ridge Bobcats, 9&10 year old Walnut Ridge Bobcats and the 11 &12 year old Walnut Ridge Bobcats.

River Beauty Pagaent - June 9, 2007
Saturday evening, June 9, 2007, at the Walnut Ridge Community Center the Miss Black River Pageant Association
held their inaugural Miss Black River Pageant. The pageant was a fun raiser for People to People Student Ambassador
Tonya Catron, daughter of Mike and Beck Catron of Walnut Ridge. The pageant showcased girls from birth to age 21
from the entire State. The Contestants were judged on beauty, poise and stage presence in formal attire and were
awarded their sashes as Miss Black River as well as first and second runner up in each of the age division represented.
