double over time in a extremely close game with both teams putting out
over 100% through out the night ensuring their place on the road to STATE!

Tuckerman's Lady Bulldogs stole the evening playing Walnut Ridge's
Lady Bobcat Senior Girls in the season's finial game. Both teams
played well with non stop action resulting in a exciting game.

Walnut Ridge's Bobcats Senior High Boys over came Tuckerman's Bulldogs 83 to 60
in a well fought game. Walnut Ridge also presented it's seniors and their parents
that have made this season successful and possible.

Walnut Ridge Key Club versus Faculty
The Walnut Ridge Bobcat Key Club versus the Faculty in a well fought
game where the students had to relent to maturity of the faculty in being
beat 65 to 56 in favor of the faculty

Walnut Ridge Bobcat SR Boys versus Terrell's Rockets Feb 23, 2005
Walnut Ridge Bobcats Senior Boys lost to Terrell's Rockets in their attempt to
make it to the State playoffs. Turrell's Rockets over came the Bobcats with the
score of 67 to 49. Congratulation for such a valiant effort of the Bobcat Senior Boys
that has been put forth in being considered in the running for State.

Walnut Ridge Bobcats defeated the Pocahontas Redskins Varsity with a score of 6 to 2
in favor of Walnut Ridge. The B Team also played following the Varsity game and
defeated the Redskins 3 to 2 in favor of the Bobcats.
Part of the Varsity game and the last part of the B Team's game was photographed
due to the Girl's and Boy's teams playing simultaneously.

in a five inning game hosted at Hoxie High School's Ball Park.

Hoxie Mustangs traveled to Swifton to play against the Swifton Pirates
on their home field and came away victorious with a 3 to 13 score in Hoxie's favor.


Hoxie Mustang Varsity Versus Black Rock Zebras - April 5, 2005
Hoxie Mustangs hosted the Black Rock Zebras, Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at
Grider Field. Hoxie held the lead until the sixth inning when the Zebras kicked
up their heals and over came the Mustangs 5 to 3 in favor of Black Rock Zebras.

Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats versus Riverside's Lady Rebels - April 5, 2005
Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats were defeated by the Riverside's Lady Rebels at
W.R. Glenn Field in Walnut Ridge by 11-8 the Lady Rebels victory. (My apology's for

Just happened to be at a practice of the some of the smaller baseball players
that maybe be small in stature but big in baseball heart!

Black Rock Zebra's versus Mammoth Springs Bears April 18, 2005
Black Rock High School's Boy's Varsity and their Girls Softball teams hosted
the game against Mammoth Spring's High School's Bears Monday afternoon,
April 18th., 2005 at Black Rock School's Baseball Complex.
Scores were 15 to 6 in favor of the Lady Bears versus the Lady Zebras;
0 to 10 in favor of the Zebras Varsity Boys versus the Mammoth Springs Bears first game;
11 to 1 in favor of the Zebras Boys versus the Mammoth Springs Bears in a second game.
Second game of the Black Rock Lady Zebras scores are unknown to me at this time.

Hoxie Lady Mustangs versus Nettleton Lady Raiders - April 19, 2005
Hoxie Lady Mustangs hosted the Nettleton Lady Raiders in a softball match,
April 19, 2004, in which the Nettleton Lady Raiders were victorious over
the Lady Mustangs with a score of 5 to 1 in favor of the Lady Raiders.

Hoxie Mustangs hosted the Lawrence County Tournament at Grider Field April 8th and 9th, 2005
with the following High School teams represented: Black Rock Zebras versus Sloan Hendrix's Lady Grey Hounds (9 to 17
in favor of Sloan Hendrix Lady Grey Hounds) Lynn/ River Valley's Hill Crest's Lady Screaming Eagles versus Walnut Ridge
Lady Bobcats (13 to 14 in favor of the WR Bobcats); Hoxie Lady Mustangs versus Imboden's Sloan
Hendrix's Lady Grey Hounds (4 to 15 in favor of the Mustangs.)

Saturday started out with the Hoxie Lady Mustangs opposing the Walnut Ridge Lady
Bobcats with a 7 to 1 win in the Mustangs' favor; Hoxie Mustang Varsity Boys versus Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds,
3 to 1 in favor of the Grey Hounds; Walnut Ridge Bobcats Varsity versus Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds
resulting in a 7 to 2 win by the Grey Hounds; Hoxie Lady Mustangs versus Lynn/ River Valley's
Hillcrest Lady Scream'in Eagles with a 0 to 11 win in favor of the Mustangs.

Walnut Ridge Bobcats' Varsity won FIRST PLACE over all in the tournament with Imboden's
Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds placing First Runner Up.


Hoxie's Lady Mustangs won FIRST PLACE over all in the tournament with Lynn/River Valley's
Scream'in Eagles placing First Runner Up.

Brookland Lady Bearcats met up with the Westside Lady Warriors, April 26, 2005,
at Grider Field at Hoxie High School for the final game of the Soft Ball District Tournament
in a defensive battle. Westside Lady Warriors came out victorious to win the District Championship.

Little League and Connie Mack Baseball, a after school program that uses school equipment and facilities
to provide extra activities to the area's youth, keeping them in sports and active on team sports. Hoxie,
Swifton, Black Rock, Sloan Hendrix, Hillside and Tuckerman schools participate

Hoxie Mustangs versus Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds at Hoxie's Grider Field with the Little League
A Teams playing, resulting in a 10 to 3 score in favor of the Mustangs.

Hoxie Mustangs and the Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds at Grider Field with the Little League
B Teams in play with the resulting score of 11 to 13 in favor of the Mustangs.

Hoxie Mustangs versus Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds at Hoxie's Grider Field with the Connie Mack
Teams playing, resulting in a close 12 to 2 in favor of the Hoxie Mustangs.



Hoxie Mustangs versus Black Rock Zebras - June 6, 2005
Hoxie Mustangs hosted several games at Grider Field against the Black Rock Zebras. The Pee Wee Boys
A and B teams played with the out come being 8 to 1 in favor of the Hoxie Mustang Pee Wee A Team;
The Mustang's B Team also prevailed over the Black Rock Zebras with a score of 5 to 0.

The Hoxie Lady Mustang hosted the game with the Black Rock Lady Zebras A and B Teams;
the out come of the Lady's B Teams was in favor of Hoxie with a score of 11 to 10.
The A Teams game started too late in the evening for available light for the camera so
regrettably there are no photos of the evening's A Team's game.



Black Rock Lady Zebras versus Imboden's Sloan Hendrix's Lady Greyhounds
The Black Rock Lady Zebras hosted the afternoon game against the Imboden Sloan Hendrix's
Lady Greyhounds with a resulting score of nine to eight in favor of the Zebras.


Hoxie Mustangs hosted Black Rock Zebras - June 16, 2005
Hoxie Mustang Elementary boys ages 8 to 11 battled the Black Rock Zebras with
a resulting score of 5 to zero in the Mustang favor. The Elementary boys B team's
game resulted with a 4 to 2 score in favor of the Mustangs.

The Hoxie Mustang Elementary girls and the Black Rock Zebras played a
close game well into the last innings with the resultant score not known to
me due to going to the Morgan Portable Building Mfg. Company's fire.

Black Rock Zebras Versus Tuckerman - June 28, 2005
Black Rock Zebra's over came Tuckerman's Bulldogs June 28, 2005 in the afternoon's
heat with a score of 11 to 5 in favor of the Tuckerman's Bulldogs.


Black Rock versus Hillcrest - June 28, 2005
Black Rock Zebras versus the Hillcrest's Screaming Eagles, June 28, 2005, at the River Valley Elementary
School's Ball Park resulting in a score of 9 to 2 in the Zebra's favor.


Hoxie Mustangs versus Black Rock Zebras - June 29, 2005
Black Rock Zebras played the Hoxie Mustangs for the first game of the afternoon at 12 P.M.
JR. Little League with the game going to the Mustangs 5 to 2. No photos were taken of this game.


Hillcrest's Screaming Eagles versus Tuckerman's Bulldogs - June 29, 2005
Hillcrest Screaming Eagles played against the Tuckerman Bulldogs for the second game of the
afternoon with the 11 to 13 age group Little League with the outcome of the game going to
the Screaming Eagles 8 to 4.


Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds versus Black Rock's Zebras - June 29, 2005
The third game of the afternoon pitted Sloan Hendrix's Grey Hounds against Black Rock Zebras
with the game belonging to the Zebras.


Hoxie Mustangs versus Tuckerman's Bulldogs - June 29, 2004
The final game of the evening pitted Hoxie's Mustangs SR Little League against the Tuckerman's
Bulldogs with the game belonging to the Mustangs with the final score of 9 to 0.


Tournament Final Day, Tuckerman, Black Rock, Hoxie and Hillcrest
The final day of the tournament saw Hoxie, Tuckerman, Hillcrest and Black Rock struggling
to be called "Number 1" in the heat of the day. Hoxie played two games back to back and
took home the "Number 1" trophy with Hillcrest Screaming Eagles coming in second.

Games played included Tuckerman Bulldogs versus Hoxie Mustang Jr. boys with a score of 4 to 3
in favor of the Bulldogs; Hillcrest Screaming Eagles versus Hoxie Mustangs Boys with a score of 3 to 4 in favor
of the Hoxie Mustangs Jr. Boys winning the "Number 1" spot in the Foothill Youth League 2005 in the second
game against Hoxie Mustangs and Hillcrest Screaming Eagles with a ending score of 7 to 2 in the Mustang's favor.

Sloan Hendrix's Greyhounds and the Hoxie Mustang Sr. Boys played the last game of the day with the ending
score not know by me. With failing light and degraded results with the photographs the game went on without me.
